Who holds the CEO to account.

The CEO is not accountable to the policing code of ethics.

The CEO is not accountable to the @PFEW_HQ rules, which his office use’s to propagate fear and retribution against anyone who criticises the organisation.

The CEO is not accountable to the membership, their local representatives or even their elected (where elections take place😂) officials.

It seems the only people the CEO is accountable to are Brach Board officials who seemingly answer to him and him alone!

In the last year there has been an undemocratic transfer of power and a dilution of PFEW rules and the National Board have allowed this to happen… one assumes because the promised delay to elections (which will see a good few into retirement) have been delivered.

Here is a position, created in response to the damming employment tribunal judgement, which has furthered the democratic deficit as opposed to alleviate it.

It’s almost like PFEW read the judgement, scowled at the attempt to hold them to account and created a new structure and position which would sit outside of the standards of professional behaviour and ethical practice we mere plebs are expected to keep.
