Boston Red Sox vs New York Mets. 1986 World Series. Bottom of the 10th… this is the kind of moment that makes legends and breaks hearts at the same time.
"THE COMEBACK"
Playing in Chicago, Illinois erased a 15-point deficit in the last 4 minutes vs. Arizona and won in OT to punch their ticket to the Final Four.
The Illini are back in the Final Four for the first time since that run (2005) 🧡
#Illini
One of my favorite things to do for big plays is find all of the calls from it, from each perspective, and compile it into one video. Here’s are the calls from the Braylon Mullins shot, in order…
-CBS: Ian Eagle, Bill Raftery, Grant Hill
-Duke radio (my favorite ironically and unironically): David Shumate
-UConn radio: Mike Crispino
-UConn student radio
-Westwood One: Scott Graham
Eagles/Bucs 2002 NFC Championship Game:
If you told me I could bet on this game after these 2 plays in the first minute of the game I would have put my entire bank account on the Eagles making the Super Bowl.
Sadly, the other 59 minutes went the complete opposite direction for the Eagles and they closed out the Vet with one of their most disappointing losses in franchise history.
No crowd in Philly will ever be as loud as this so for all the bad I will always remember this opening minute of the game.
