Want to use @Twitter for sci communication in the classroom? CBEC faculty just published a paper in JMBE. More than Tweets for Undergraduate Student Researchers. Thanks to @mikemorrison for the idea. @arepscor@MicrobialPath@OBUNatSci https://t.co/EZ6ikwF8wN
@GrageDustin Free speech and peaceful protests are protected by the constitution. Law enforcement and military are supposed to protect those rights, not bow to the president.
Along with the new Cell Viability Cell Block, @Ouachita students made one on how to graph and present the data. All cell blocks are made by students as part of their independent research experience. #STEM#Arakansas@OBUNatSci https://t.co/o2lT5i5H2c
A new CBEC cell Block on Cell Viability. A Spanish version will be coming soon.

At an summer undergraduate research meeting and bumped into two of my previous (now PhDs) students at the meeting supporting their own students. I took them to the same meeting 10 years ago. Amazing!
Plant genomes sequenced from 2000 to 2020.
Techniques including the use of molecular markers, genome mapping, sequencing, and in vitro culture have been applied to breeding, for the improvement of novel varieties.

This concerted effort is the epitomy of collaboration: from the Czech Republic to Cali, to Florida, Arkansas and others, including Puerto Rico (proud to represent my island in this work🇵🇷). Thanks to @samplinghuman and @CellBioEd for coordinating this. @CienciaPR@interpuertorico
R.PRJ brought together 30 users across 12 laboratories to test reproducibility of our single-cell measurement technology. Hear from participants and learn more about the study from the R.PRJ video.

At the end of our first NSF grant, we created 76 "Cell Block" videos. All made by undergraduates as part of their independent research or #CURE. The CBEC YouTube channel has over 1,000 subscribers and over 77K views. https://t.co/PjbfKEXPLA
English version of the newest @cbioportal in the classroom Cell Block by Dr. Padilla and her students @InterAguadilla. Our Spanish/English playlist is a full series on developing a CURE analyzing genomic data. @CURENet1#STEM

Did I mention they made Spanish and English versions of their Cell Blocks? How Cool? This helps us reach a wider audience and help more students and faculty.

More data/analysis and genomic Cell Blocks from @epadilla_jade and her students. This can be used to create an online CURE or used to support a wet-lab project.

My students from Inter American University of Puerto Rico-Aguadilla were the winning team across all the U.S., and in the process acquired knowledge and skills across the disciplines of economics, diplomacy, scientific analysis, marketing, and trade policy.
Lately I can barely keep up, but this was a good win for our students + an opportunity for @interpuertorico to be at the intl. trade & policy "table" & at the excellence in higher education "map". Thanks @HACU for organizing the @USDA@USDAFAS Agricultural Export Market Challenge
Come learn about assessing student learning in CUREs at our workshop @UrsinusCollege on June 10. Travel awards available. More information at https://t.co/moCGtIibjq registration link posting soon. @ASBMB@CURENet1
