Made it to hilly Eden, so far raised over $850 for the Mallacoota & District Fire Recovery Fund. Of course, Covid-19 response means I will likely have to suspend this tour soon unless I come up with a creative solution.

Deeply questioning my sanity so test ride to local pub needed. Total rig weight (bike / trailer / gear) 72kg! It certainly feels heavy, but I’m always amazed at what one can carry on a human powered bicycle. At least I made it to the pub!! #ReWildBicycleViolaTour

In an act of solidarity with other fire impacted communities and the natural environment, I’ve decided to do a slow bicycle tour from Mallacoota to Sydney performing free / fundraising concerts with music and moving images along the way. Tour starts mid March, fires permitting.

@alienghic @guardian @flyingless @GretaThunberg @ABCClassic @kellazzaro I didn't have far to go and I left early, before sirens. Mallacoota is a very small remote town and residents visitors were advised to stay in town. They closed the only road in and out.
