@IanAnde49231508 @airport_girl The 2-3 nice days that my schedule would have allowed me to fly, I got to the airport and either didn’t have enough time to preheat or nearly feel just walking on the apron and knew I could pull the plane out, but no way I was getting it back in. @jasonrosewell @hawkemedia I wish I could find out how my personal cell got into call lists related to my work. I ask vendors all the time how I got on their list but they all use 3rd parties and never disclose who… so I’ve started a list of companies I will never work with instead

@Peacewind152 @foxbuntu When I started flying the Sierra my instructor wanted to climb squared, but I mentioned that the POH calls for full full and he immediately said “if that is what the POH says go with that”. I screenshotted the POH numbers and put them in ForeFlight as a backup too

@Peacewind152 @foxbuntu That 2nd point to me is weird. If it’s in the POH it likely is for a reason, and I’m trusting that over what someone just tells me. If it’s a Lycoming or Continental engineer maybe I’d listen closer, but anyone else I just nod my head and go back to following the POH

@jasonrosewell Always abort point, options after airborn, what to do with an engine and non engine emergency once airborn. Whether or not I’m alone or with passengers. I make sure to always verbalize it, mostly so that in the event something happens, I don’t have to think about it

@Peacewind152 @foxbuntu The departing twin still seems like they made a huge error, but it at least can help make sense why departing traffic was using the opposite runway from arrivals.
