@_ItsMarisWorld_ The way people looked at me with pity when I hit 30 as a single woman...I can't describe it. SO many people now expect me to adjust or change my life for the benefit of my husband and I simply shall not.

I didn't wait for my life to start, and ppl expect me to change instead.

@_ItsMarisWorld_ So....I actually experienced this with my husband. We dated in 2016, and broke up. We stayed friends, dated other people, and did that for about 5-6 years.

We got married last year. We tell each other all the time that, had things gone the idealized way, we would be done by 2023
