Gr2/3 learning to use the problem solving model with today’s focus to identify what is being solved. Ss used different CRA strategies. One student partitioned a line of 20 into 4 groups of 5 by representing circles along the line. Others built arrays using tiles. @CentennialCent

So incredibly fortunate to be apart of such a humbling experience! Our little country school came together and surpassed our goal of $4000 to purchase a lift for one of our families with a child with physical needs! The family was overwhelmed with our presentation! ❤️

A perfect example why memorizing isn’t enough. Student memorized up to 12x12 but applic of 13’s hit a wall. True math fluency is to understand the number relations. Working on multiplying 13, 14, 22, and feeling Canadian w/ double-double. #TVDSBMath @CentennialCent @73tracywhite
