The #Ceres Fire & Police are sharing a few tips for the July 4th.
Both are increasing staffing to help answer higher than average call volume and illegal fireworks enforcement.
To report illegal fireworks, call (209) 538-5683. Do not call 9-1-1 for illegal fireworks use.
If fireworks don’t have this seal on them they are illegal fireworks. Ceres has increased the fine for illegal fireworks to $2,500 and Ceres Police are actively looking for violators.
Don’t let your 4th of July be ruined by injuries, fires, or fines from illegal fireworks use.
#Fireworks sales started at noon yesterday and will run through #July4th.
Crews have been inspecting fireworks booths for safety violations and will ensure all booths are inspected before their first sales.
