@PocketTrigger This trend started with B/W as I recall and it was deserved then. Great games. XY was not bad, SM was ok I guess, SWSH was pretty bad, and finally SV was amazing with some glaring issues. I’ve been defending SV for years, not waiting for some revision.

@JoeMerrick @DGThaBurner I’ve always felt the best way to apply the term tourist is to use it regarding people who get in on a fad and demand everything change to suit their needs when they know they won’t be in on it more than 2 weeks. It’s not for new players expressing that they don’t like something.

@DistantCoder Speed control! If you go before your opponent then you can’t be flinched. If you get bad luck (like a scald burn or crit) after you have already moved, it mitigates some of the loss in momentum. Speed control is probably the most important element of the game.

@JustWeavile Looks great. Will it be possible to play VGC on this? The positioning of the models might get a little cluttered as it is. Just wanted to know if that’s on your radar or if this is just for singles.

I see everyone posting about there being no restrooms in the Pokemon Vegas Regional event hall. Did nobody bother looking around? There’s a bathroom on the opposite wall of the stream matches. Next to the grilled cheese place.

@MBTYuGiOh I genuinely found Floo fun to play. Despite the fact that the sets up a floodgate and unashamedly plays Dshifter, the deck itself is uncomplicated and relatively linear. Something a lot of modern Giga-combo decks lack.

@funnyvileplume In terms of competitive, it serves little purpose that EVs couldn’t handle. For a playthrough of the game, it makes your partners feel different than other people’s.

@SmugAlana The Switch and its library was exceptional and the Switch 2 will be as well. Pokémon is the only clear example of laziness. It is just in vogue to hate Nintendo because of the bizarre or aggressive business decisions they make. To clarify, no I’m not defending those decisions.
