The cost of Insurance is maybe around 40 or 50 dollars depending on the days you will be staying in kenya. kama vyenye unalipa insurance around 15k or 20k per year & when you are sick insurance pay for u upto to 4m.

kununua hio coverage ya 6.5m inacost around 10k more or less...kulingana na siku anakaa kenya.
eg if a tourist have an accident in nairobi aenda Nairobi hospital na bill ni 6.5m , the insurance will 6.5 ksh na Tourist ataku amelipa 10 ksh.

we are just making it mandatory.
The only problem is if they monopolise it and force the tourist to buy insuarance from a specific company.

For exampe A kenyan tourist going to Europe can buy a ksh 6000 package insurance which will cover him/her for 30,000 euros.
Now imagine a tourist coming to kenya ...
