@SendoGoat@Yonko_Red wait thats the dfkjfn that took my channel years ago thoes this mean its actually a fraud thats pretending to be toei. Please tell me you have proof
@Threadwingart@0sweetbuns0 practical example a tshirt of naruto wearing a stawhat and a shirt with a dragon ball on it. thoes are 3 copyrighted properties convine into one however the combinating all of them tecnally you break none. but in the end its a juge decision in court if the use is correct or not
@Threadwingart@0sweetbuns0 And finally what need to understand is the more it divers from the original material the less likelly you are to get in trouble, if it has a different art style, mixes multiple things that arent anywhere and dosent compete with the original you should be clear
@Threadwingart@0sweetbuns0 Plus theres also the fact that you can tecnically ask for permision to sell from the original copyright holder, they could ask for a take of your profits or they could deny your request or like in the case of sonic they could let you use it
@Threadwingart@0sweetbuns0 Also the concept of private contract if your friend wants to buy something anime realted that you made and dosent take any orginal art (drawing or anime scence) from thats between you and your friend, when you go public in a sertain scale then you may get in trouble
@Threadwingart@0sweetbuns0 there´s a few more things to turn into acount example parody if you drew doraemon in a terminator costume thats tecnally legal. theres also the laws of copyright that are in your country
@ShortFormErnie I think they forget 2 hard truths one copyright isnt eternal eventually in a century or 2 everyone that ever work in an anime or game will be dead and theres no international law on copyright exporting a product makes it aplicable to the laws of where you export
