@jupo1182@Matthewm_27@barstoolsports And as a champion you can’t come out flat. Chimaev was as flat as we’ve ever seen him. Ultimately, I don’t truly care who won between these two because they both fought a very boring fight for two people who supposedly hate each other.
@jupo1182@Matthewm_27@barstoolsports Pressing to do very little shouldn’t be a reward. Strickland is a counter puncher. If Chimaev was pressing and Strickland was running for his life, that is a different story.
@Your_Guy_Nix The corner position is still very scary to me. Bland rarely stays healthy and Revel is still a big question mark. If we can put pressure on QBs, less of a concern.
@dan325@rjochoa@JohnOwning Diggs what a shade of his former self for certain. But, asking players like Diggs and Revel for example who excel in man coverage, to play solely zone coverage is just not utilizing your players to their strengths plain and simple.
@dan325@rjochoa@JohnOwning I’m not denying that he wasn’t handed the best hand, but when he did make proper adjustments (few and far in between) we saw players make plays and some better D. We’ve seen coordinators come in and do solid jobs with less than ideal circumstances. Eberflus refused to adjust.
@rjochoa@JohnOwning My biggest problem with Eberflus was that he didn’t adjust to anything and when he did it was too little too late. I felt like he was always behind the 8 ball scheme wise.
@JohnOwning If we could get Chubb for cheap and Get Fitzpatrick for a decent price, I would have maybe a shred of hope left. Our safeties are just dreadful to watch.
