Painted this today,SABR.
I don’t know why but every stroke just kept making me think of IMRAN KHAN Sahib.
Sitting here with my chai, my loved ones next to me, and I just kept thinking how long it’s been since he’s had any of that.
His sons.
His sisters.
His own home.
Things we don’t even think about because we have them.
And he’s still standing through all of it.
That’s probably why this one word felt so heavy today.
Ya Allah pak, his sabr has been long enough. Please let him see the reward of it now.

Every other delegation understood the assignment: navy, black, restraint, gravity.
One man arrived with full mehndi-function energy.
But the suit isn’t really the story. Dress codes can be misunderstood; the room cannot.
The occasion, the gravity, the discipline of diplomacy none of it seems to have registered.
That’s what happens when a state sends a performer to do a statesman’s job.
The suit wasn’t the joke. It was just the part of the problem you could see.

THIS is what leadership looks like, you don’t just raise your voice, you show up.
So proud of you, Shahzad Bhai, and incredibly proud to be part of your core team.
You didn’t just talk about standing with people, you actually stood up, even when it cost you.
Even when it was easier to stay quiet.
That’s rare.
That’s real.
And I’m genuinely proud to call myself part of your core team.
To everyone in Calgary ,this Saturday, 5 PM, Eau Claire Plaza. Bring your family.
Bring your friends.
Bring whoever you can.
Come stand with us for @Dr_YasminRashid and for the healthcare workers who spend their lives caring for us and are now the ones who need us to show up for them.
They shouldn’t have to carry this alone.
And if we truly believe what we say we believe, neither should we.

Our daily langar is getting bigger.
Not because we have more food, because more mothers couldn’t feed their children last night,
because more fathers went to sleep pretending they weren’t hungry.
Old hands that once fed this whole town now shake, waiting for
EIK ROTI.
Not a full meal.
Not even close.
Just one roti.
So a child stops crying from hunger,
so an old man doesn’t collapse on the way home,
so a mother can look her kids in the eye one more day.
Their eyes stay down.
A lifetime of pride
swallowed with every step forward in that line.
That’s the whole ask.
Not luxury. Not comfort.
Just enough to survive until tomorrow.
And still, the line grows longer.
Every single day.
This continues twice a day, every day.
Face after face.
Hunger doesn’t take a day off.
