What a weird head scratching move by SY before the draft.
Did anybody have Lombardi being traded before Larkin on their bingo card cause I sure as hell didn't have it on mine.
Huh, Detroit moves on from Lombardi for a 4th round pick. I understand he had long odds to make the NHL due to his size and whatnot, but I still wanted to see what he could do with an opportunity.
Red Wings didn't see the path, I suppose, so they recouped the pick. #LGRW
Yzerman has no leverage. I imagine Larkin heads to Minnesota to go play with Hughes.
I think Minnesota’s 1st and 3rd in 2027 with Hartman will get it done. 😔
The loss will be massive as Cat, and Kane likely won’t stay. #fireyzerman
🚨 BREAKING: Dylan Larkin has requested a trade from the Detroit Red Wings, per Elliotte Friedman.
What kind of return do you think Steve Yzerman could get? How did you react to the news? What's happening? #LGRW
A High Schooler just ran 12.97 in the 110M Hurdles 🤯
Klein Colins’ Andrew Jones ran an all Conditions High School Record at Texas Relays of 12.97 in the 110mH.
SNOW & ICE THREAT: An active weather pattern is shaping up for the Southern Plains and Southeast this weekend.
Exact timing and precipitation type remain uncertain, but there’s still time to prepare.
Hurricane Melissa is the THIRD Category 5 storm of 2025, tying the record set by the legendary 2005 season.
And get this, 80% of this season's hurricanes have reached Category 4 or 5 strength. That's the highest percentage in Atlantic history.
BREAKING: Hurricane Melissa has been upgraded to a ferocious CATEGORY 5 HURRICANE, with winds of 160 MPH and a pressure of 917 MBAR. She is just over 24 hours away from making landfall in Jamaica.
This is only the 2nd time in recorded history that THREE or more Category 5 storms formed in the Atlantic Basin within a single year.
TROPICS: This morning Melissa is now a powerful category four hurricane with winds of 140 mph, about 120 miles south/southeast of Kingston, Jamaica. It is moving to the west at 5 mph, and is forecast to move over Jamaica early Tuesday morning.
Jamaica: Seek shelter now. Damaging winds and heavy rainfall today and tomorrow will cause catastrophic and life-threatening flash flooding and numerous landslides before the strongest winds arrive tomorrow night and Tuesday morning. Extensive infrastructural damage, long-duration power and communication outages, and isolation of communities are expected. Life-threatening storm surge is likely along portions of the southern coast tomorrow night and Tuesday morning.
Haiti: Catastrophic and life-threatening flash flooding and landslides are expected across southwestern Haiti through midweek, likely causing extensive infrastructural damage and isolation of communities. Although winds are temporarily decreasing on the Tiburon peninsula, they could increase again across much of western Haiti on Tuesday.
Dominican Republic: Heavy rainfall through midweek could produce catastrophic flash flooding and numerous landslides in southern portions of the country.
Eastern Cuba, Southeast Bahamas, and the Turks and Caicos: Monitor Melissa closely. There is an increasing risk of a significant storm surge, damaging winds, and heavy rainfall by the middle of the week. In eastern Cuba, the risk of life-threatening flash flooding and landslides is increasing. A Hurricane Watch is in effect for portions of eastern Cuba.
Melissa will stay well east of the U.S. Atlantic coast. No hurricanes or tropical storms are expected across the Gulf for at least the next 10 days.
