@mweinbach When I talked to someone at Samsung about it. I got the impression from what they said it updates 8 days from the scheduled delivery date. So I would try checking maybe mid day tomorrow through FedEx and see what it says.

@ravocean @MKBHD I think this is due to focal length, the Pixel has a tighter focal length while the Xperia has a wider one. You can also kind of tell because the face looks more distorted on the Xperia.

@MKBHD The one issue I have with this so far is that my top picks have not faced each other but one has appeared more so they rank it higher but that doesn't really tell me if it's better than the one that appeared less. There needs to be some way to adjust for this.

When they first introduced m1 I was genuinely blown away how seamles they made the transition from x86 to arm on macos. I really think it's the most revolutionary thing Apple has done since the original iPhone.

@UniverseIce If if was the default and you could disable it and maybe even a warning I'd be OK with that but not having the choice is what's frustrating. A big thing about Android is freedom and choice. So to deliberately take that away is insulting.

When you compare 16:9 content mini is actually smaller than reg iPhone 8. So size is not the same.

A phone with 16x9 at 5.5 is about 12% larger area than a 5.5" with 19.5x9. Area of iphone mini screen is actually closer to reg iphone 8 than 8+.
