Y’all know I don’t do this, but I have to this time.
I tried so hard to settle this internally, but the guy clearly isn’t ready to pay back what he owes.
The simple summary is this: @Fakyini reached out to @RedemptionTemi because he found his trading journey really inspiring.
According to both of them, Fakyini initially rewarded Temi with 50k for his good work and because he wanted to learn from him and make money too.
Later on, according to the boy, he didn’t have dollars and told Temi he needed to buy with naira. Temi then told him he had a trusted plug, so the boy sent Temi ₦225k to help him get the dollars sometime around December last year.
Till today, Temi still hasn’t sent the dollars. The only money he reportedly sent back was 20k, and since then, he has been ignoring the boy completely. That was what eventually pushed the boy to make the post about him.
Temi keeps claiming his exchange wallet was locked.
The boy also claimed he bought a pro account for Temi, but Temi said he bought it for himself.
Temi admitted he owed him the money, but then said he wouldn’t refund him because the boy posted about him and called him a scammer.
The boy said he only did that because Temi kept ignoring him, and from the chats I saw, I can confirm that too.
Temi was my mutual and community member until now, which is why I personally reached out to help them settle things peacefully.
I tried calming him down and even told him I’d speak to the boy to reverse the scammer claims and present it as a misunderstanding that had been resolved. I then asked him how he planned to refund the money.
Instead of cooperating, Temi started insulting me and calling me names.
I felt really disrespected because all I wanted was for this issue to be sorted internally.
To be honest, I’m posting this now because I received multiple complaints about him last year involving similar situations, though I didn’t pay much attention then. I’ve also seen other claims online from people accusing him of similar behavior.
Even though Temi added “Redemption” to his username, it doesn’t seem like he has truly been redeemed.
At this point, I see him as someone very rigid and used to this pattern, so I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if this doesn’t even affect him.
You really can’t shame the shameless.
Hopefully, he pays the guy back his money.
Most importantly, I want everyone to be careful with Temi.
I genuinely tried my best not to make this public because I hate having to do this, but for everyone’s safety, I feel like I have to speak up and because he dared me.
Stay guarded.
