Just realised I've not posted anything about our travels, despite leaving the UK on 29th March...
Hmmm... I'll do better.
In the meantime, this is @Alison_R_W and I (with Suki asleep under the table) at a lovely cafe in Berat, Albania.
Could this count as the beginning of the adventure?
On the way to Cardiff to drive our Hymer B624 motorhome home tomorrow.
Had to go 1st class as it is so much cheaper for us pensioners... ๐๐
THANK YOU to those who have helped so far, and the link - should you want to support us - is https://t.co/2pciNZbGpI Already reached 10% of our target, so still a long way to go. Funds raised will support the work of @Masonic_Charity

The Masonic Charitable foundation donates millions each year to NON Masonic causes, as well as supporting our brethren and their families in Freemasonry.
Please excuse me for filling this feed with updates of how our training, fund raising and the event is going.
Thank you.
A proud moment for my own (and 'mother') lodge, where senior Freemason, Andy Bailey, presented our 'Master' with the maul in recognition of charitable fund raising efforts made by the lodge over the past three years.
2027 Festival Update
๐Been a Busy week for the 2027 Festival, with certificates galore.

Last Thursday (14th), I was privileged to witness a very unusual meeting. The gentleman in the middle, Doug Coombes, reached 100. After this photo, his family were invited into the lodge to witness the accolades delivered to him. Congratulations, although he isn't on X!
Starting early last month, and for the year till October 2025, I've been fortunate to be given an "Acting" role within @CheshirePGL. Photos were taken and misplaced by me at the first event. The second, however was last Saturday at Birkenhead Masonic Hall for Clive Dunn's 50th
This is a great example of how we communicate with our network marketing prospects.
Even when we are careful with our words, we can create a different message inside their brains.
Ouch.
@UGLE_GrandLodge How about the more unusual aspects of Freemasonry? Two examples I'm aware of are the European Masonic Association and the Masonic Motorcycle Club International. Neither are lodges, but are excellent examples of the worldwide nature of our fraternity.
Sunday saw @Alison_R_W and I enjoy the company of around 40 others at a BBQ hosted by Liz & Mike O'Brien, with over ยฃ600 being raised for Breast Cancer Research & Macmillans Cancer Charities.
Good company, good food, good wine (& other drinks) with a lovely, not too hot, day.
