@volcaholic1 In my experience trying to explain and have them charge you for the item you received will probably make you want to cry. I would take the win.
A White Racist literally walked into Tesco with a machete and tried to decapitate a #Sikh man in the middle of the grocery aisle.
Because #Sikhs are not mentally unwell, they did not ask every white person in Britain to take responsibility and apologise.

Well well well, look who turns up at this police station in Liverpool with the other simpletons. It's Ryan Ferguson, self proclaimed neo-Nazi wearing his Raise the Colours top! #FarageRiots
Killed someone with a sword, got only 9 years.
This two tier justice is always letting immigrants off easy.*
*Glad I got your attention, he isn't an immigrant.
In the early hours (around 2am) of 5 January 2025, on Military Road in Canterbury, this racist thug (then 20, now 21, from Sturry near Herne Bay) approached a woman walking alone.
He initially ran past her but then came back, stood very close, racially abused her (using slurs like calling her a "black ****", asking "What are you doing in this country?" and "Do you enjoy stealing our benefits?"), demanded her wallet, threatened to "shank" (stab) her, and pretended to have a knife by reaching into his waistband.
He threw her shopping on the ground, ignored her pleas, and punched her full force in the face (described by the victim as "like she was a full-grown man"). He then ran off.
The woman was left terrified and in pain; police described her injuries as serious at the time.
Wilson handed himself in about a month later, initially lied, but then admitted it and pleaded guilty to attempted robbery (with racial hostility as an aggravating factor).
On 28 May 2026 at Canterbury Crown Court, he was jailed for 2 years and 5 months. The judge noted the attack on a lone vulnerable woman at night, the racial element, and his intoxication/drug use as key factors.
Tell me again that there is no far-right in England.

Barely a month ago this man was imprisoned for the violent rape of a Sikh woman believing that she was a Muslim. No Douglas Murray articles in the Spectator, no Baroness Fox speech in the Lords. No riots. Two tier? Too right https://t.co/8wABWe3bww
@volcaholic1 A $700 million 'investment' in coal which of course will be syphoned off to the Trump family. It's OK though, I'm sure the fossil fuel industry will call him out.
@scottsimon36@BenNollWeather What you mean is YOU will likely not notice, though it's not clear if that's because you live in a place that doesn't tend to be impacted, or because you're too busy sharing your "expert" opinion on X. I suspect a combination of both.
@scottsimon36@BenNollWeather Thanks for that inciteful synopsis, Scott. Nobody suggested El Nino was armageddon but you obviously felt the need to get ahead of the game. I'm sure quite a few people WILL notice, like the millions that depend on monsoon rains for instance, or the crops lost due to drought.
@withnailjones The ONLY way to address this HUGE rise in petty crime is to vote REFORM! Once all the petty criminals are running the country, they won't have time to steal mobile phones.
@medialens If we keep MEASURING the temperature then OBVIOUSLY records will be broken so why don't we just stop measuring them?
Trump has the right idea, removing a network of 900 ocean buoys so they can no longer capture record breaking heat! Now we can all get back to slowly dying.
