A new study led by our researchers has examined the evidence, in what is believed to be the largest review of Overdose Prevention Centres worldwide.

“There are so many misconceptions about OPCs – how they can help and what the evidence says. These are harm-reduction spaces which aim to meet people where they are at, provide health support and basic facilities, and keep people alive.

"They are places of safety and inclusion, often for those who do not have other places to go. The evidence shows when we create community for people who are often excluded from society, that is when the magic happens, people are empowered to improve their health and wellbeing." Nitazenes in 9 examples of pills and powders sent from all over the UK and tested anonymously by @WEDINOSProject during October. These samples mostly masqueraded as diazepam pills.
Be very aware of this emerging threat if buying pills or powders.Carry naloxone.Test if you can.

Take extra care if you are a person who uses heroin in Streatham, South London.Two samples of heroin sent from there on 13/9 were found by https://t.co/4QL76tH3H6 to contain isotonitazene.This caused many deaths and also serious ODs in people who use heroin in Birmingham in July.
