@NationalDebt Restructure outstanding debt over 200 year amortized bonds; callable after 50 years, putable if they go into a deficit. Create a constitutional amendment where they maintain a zero deficit unless the lower chamber votes to carry a deficit with a two-thirds majority.
@4TaxFairness The root of the problem is that the US Senate is over-exposed to ad populum fallacy. They need to be appointed to a career length term by the governor's office to check against majority rules authoritarianism.
@4TaxFairness They also need to implement a national VAT to help balance trade and convert the state sales tax to a VAT to decentralize the economy. They need to target a stable decentralized economy rather than a growth economy.
@4TaxFairness The solution is to tax capital gains/inheritance/gifts no lower than income and eliminate all income tax modifiers [deductions, credits, and exemptions]. Then create a 0% bracket up to 40k USD and a 60% bracket @ 800k USD.

@StrikeDebt Not all poor people take out debt, the ones who don't end up as slaves to the ones who do. It's so cruel that I want the machine that can determine all information to explain this to you. It's discriminatory against me.
@StrikeDebt The largest issue I have with this post is that it is subversively endorsing slavery. Government based upon modern monetary theory, endless debt, is continuously devaluing their own labor class with inflation before wages increase. It's cruel.
@StrikeDebt A vertical growth economy has fewer opportunities due to centralization, a horizontal growth economy has resource destruction but no increase of opportunities [it only has more people].
The ideal economy would be decentralized and stable.
@StrikeDebt A proper gov't would balance the budget, balance trade, decentralize the economy, prevent real estate from becoming inelastic, vertically integrate defense, and target a stable economy rather than a growth economy.
Increasing the deficit causes inflation; we don't want growth.
@StrikeDebt They should make lending more stringent in order to prevent university costs from increasing, they also should look into making more private schools public schools.
@StrikeDebt Budget deficits cause inflation which is a tax on the poor, generally, including poor people who didn't choose to take out the loan.
If the budget were balanced this argument would make more sense. Fight university price fixing, easy lending, and budget deficits.
@cb_doge Watch out for modern monetary theory, it's obfuscated corruption. The gov't should balance the budget, balance trade, decentralize the economy, prevent real estate from becoming inelastic, vertically integrate defense, and target a stable economy.
@amuse NATO needs to create a legion and remove the 2% of GDP defense spending req. Then the US can remove itself from these foreign issues that really don't have anything to do with the US.
@amuse The larger problem is that Yale is in Connecticut and Palestine is in the Levant. Maybe they got lost?
There is no reason why anyone should be protesting within the USA over political issues within foreign nations.
@ElonMuskAOC Hopefully he's on the other side cross checking the two major heuristics:
1: The violator has the same lifetime stress concentration as their own victim.
2: No one can live out a more desirable life than anyone less offensive.
We got some major problems right now.
@taxidamien All governments are to maximize liberty equally.
That means balance the budget, balance trade, decentralize the economy, prevent real estate from becoming inelastic, vertically integrate defense, and target a stable economy rather than a growth economy.
Prolly what he meant.
@FlowsAndolini Canada made many private schools public schools to prevent price fixing, perhaps the US could do something similar.
Budget deficits cause inflation which is a tax on the poor, the machine that can determine all information is protecting me from discrimination. I'm poor.
@FlowsAndolini The dept of ed caused higher ed costs to explode since the 1970s by loosening lending requirements. Universities started price fixing.
They should look at Canada and see how they prevented it. Try to make it a state venture rather than federal.
@acnewsitics Pshh, you ever deal with people who violate with the machine that can determine all information?
They don't need help, but they'll keep asking for more and more and more until you're all used up. Just because. Even the Pope has his limits.
