When history is written on #Covid19, it would be a narrative of devastation balanced by anecdotes of human solidarity and tenacity. None of the vapid, juvenile political games for short-term gains would however, be remembered.

Another sinkhole appears about 50 metres away from the sinkhole that swallowed an Indian national tourist at Jalan Masjid India in Kuala Lumpur early today. The sinkhole occurred under a parked cityhall car. Meanwhile, search operations for the missing tourist is still ongoing.
Public safety must come first!
The recent technical issues with MAS aircrafts are alarming and cannot be ignored. @anthonyloke , it's time for decisive action to address these concerns and ensure the reliability of our national airline.

The Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) appears to have misled its board as well as the Human Resources Ministry to push through the Skills Passport project, the bipartisan parliamentary Public Accounts Committee found.
After hearing the testimonies of several board and management members, it found discrepancies over whether the board or the ministry had approved the project, and that both sides seem to have been misled to believe approval was given by the other side.
“The PAC found there were contradictions over what happened on Oct 6, 2022, particularly on the approval to include Neomindz Sdn Bhd as Skill Passport project executor."

While HRD Corp's reforms are a start, their effectiveness remains to be seen. More importantly, it doesn't erase the fact they failed the audit.
True progress hinges on concrete actions beyond policy changes, accountability on past mistakes, & consequences for those responsible.
The clock is ticking. Engage with your MP. Demand answers from once-progressive politicians supporting drastic changes impacting thousands of children's lives. Until July, let's keep pushing for justice. (7/7)
4 more months.
That is all the time we have left.
Speaker has adjourned Parliament. The constitutional amendments changing Malaysia's citizenship laws will be put off until Parliament reconvenes again in July. (1/n)

With no retrospective effect this means that, to quote constitutional lawyer Andrew Yong; there is not a single person alive today yet who will benefit. (6/n)

Thank you @saifnasution for listening to the people and taking action by withdrawing the proposed amendments which impact Malaysian-born stateless children (e.g. Orang Asli), as well as foundlings and abandoned children.
This Court of Appeal ruling hits especially close to home as justice is upheld in the murder case of my inspiring senior and dear friend, Kevin Morais. A bittersweet day, perhaps, but finally some closure for all who loved and cherished him. 🥺😢

I beg to differ YB @fahmi_fadzil
Without the media card or lack thereof, many journalists and media practitioners are NOT ALLOWED to cover official events, access to government offices. It hampers our work to report on the ground.
