@MarlonHimself_@boomborks I think a lot of stuff gets rushed. The VFX teams aren’t given the amount of time they actually need for some films. But take Avatar 2 for ex. They probably spent a good 4-5 years perfecting the cgi and it shows. Other films would look as good if production wasn’t rushed.
Giving the circumstances, it should’ve been very easy for Bear to decide to kill himself. And all he’d have to do is word his request a certain way, or threaten to leave or khs if she didn’t make the wish, and she’d probably do. He could’ve went to the party alone. He just folded the moment she became violent. Whenever he’s assertive, she does what he says.
@GodLikeC@Type_O_Purple Wish Nikki would do whatever Bear told her to. And yes, killing yourself is surprisingly easy to do. And if he knew that that was the quickest way to free Nikki, he’d have done it. But he didn’t. Because he’s a bad person and a narcissist.
@GodLikeC@Type_O_Purple Once he realizes the wish worked, which is at the dinner scene, he rolls with it. The dude is a rapist and a narcissist. Bear had two options in the end, kill himself (the option he should’ve taken), or get Wish Nikki to make a wish like the cashier told him. He did neither.
@GodLikeC@Type_O_Purple cares more about what he wants than what’s good for Nikki and what real Nikki wants. She literally tells him to kill her to end the suffering and his only response is to make it about him. If he were a good person, he’d to anything to fix what he did. Even killing himself.
@GodLikeC@Type_O_Purple Bear made a wish that essentially trapped Nikki’s soul/consciousness inside her own body while a completely different entity controlled the body. That becomes pretty clear to Bear around the 1/2 way point, and he just doesn’t do anything. He’s not a good person and he-
@astute__g The same reason as for when Nikki told him to kill her and that she had never been with him, and his response was “what’s so bad about being with me?” Even though he knows what he’s doing is wrong, he’s a narcissist. He lowkey doesn’t want to undo the wish.
@twoonefiveniki This wasn’t the mood till after the battle. Prior to it, everyone was was cool about Kendrick even if he wasn’t their favorite rapper. But now? You even mention his name and Drake fans started getting ptsd and 2024 flashbacks😂
@xemnesWolf@djodjeee_ I personally don’t mind him in movies. He’s not a bad actor he just keeps signing on to do shitty films. So I get how seeing his name attached to a movie might discourage people from watching it. It sucks in the case of MotU cuz he’s not bad as Skeletor and the movies pretty good
@SmackinKraken I saw something saying that Idris being cast as Man at Arms was simply because the director liked him and wanted to work with him. So even though it’s a race swap, it wasn’t don’t done for DEI purposes. And it doesn’t really effect the film in any way and Idris is great.
@xemnesWolf@djodjeee_ I don’t think that it was his fault this time. Unless you’re on social media for movie stuff or you’re following the bts of the movie closely, it’s kinda hard to tell it’s him. And he’s barely in any marketing from what I’ve seen, so I doubt normies even know he’s in it.
