Happy Thadingyut Festival to the people of Myanmar!
Known as Myanmar’s Festival of Lights, Thadingyut marks the end of Buddhist Lent (Vassa). Celebrated across the country, the festival sees homes, streets, and pagodas illuminated with candles and colourful lights, symbolising the return of the Lord Buddha from the celestial realm. The festival is also an occasion for families to pay respect to parents, teachers, and elders.
Today is our traditional "Thadingyut Festival" in Myanmar
That’s why we’re asking for our oil lamp back.We just want to light our own traditional lamps at home and at our pagodas

To Khun Thai & International Fans of Scarlet Heart TH, please spare a few moments to read this. 🙏
As stated in the joint statement we released this morning, all of us share the same position. At this point, we are waiting for the series to air, hoping that proper on-screen credits will be provided to acknowledge Myanmar's cultural heritage.
From the beginning, our goal has been to seek a clear explanation from GMMTV regarding the use of Myanmar cultural elements and to request proper on-screen credits for our cultural heritage. Our position remains unchanged.
This is not the stance of TayTawan Myanmar alone, but a shared position agreed upon by the Myanmar fanbases of artists involved in the series, as well as fanbases of other artists. So, we would like to clarify that those leaving comments under GMMTV's posts or other artists' posts about matters unrelated to the series or insults do not belong to our fan communities.
They do not represent our Myanmar fan communities and are acting on their own behalf. We kindly ask everyone to keep this in mind should you come across such comments, as these actions are not associated with us.🙏
Our decision and position have already been fully explained in the joint statement. Thank you so much.

The Statement from Myanmar Fan Communities @GMMTV@ScarletHeartTH
We, Myanmar fan communities, stand united in calling for clear explanations, proper cultural recognition, and on-screen credits for Myanmar’s cultural heritage featured in *Scarlet Heart Thailand*.
Until these concerns are properly addressed, we will temporarily suspend organized trending activities and promotional support for the series. This is about respecting our heritage, not attacking artists or opposing cultural exchange.

To all the international fans, please take a moment to understand our side before judging us.
We are not speaking up because we hate Thailand, GMMTV, or the artists we once loved. We are speaking up because our culture matters to us, and we believe it deserves to be acknowledged and respected.
Many of us have spent years supporting these artists, celebrating their achievements, defending them when others criticized them, and comforting them through difficult times. We stood by them even when it meant facing criticism ourselves. We did all of this because we genuinely cared about them.
But now, we are the ones feeling hurt and disappointed. It is heartbreaking when the people we once supported so wholeheartedly seem unable to understand why something so important to us matters. We are not asking anyone to hate or attack anyone. We are simply asking for our voices to be heard, our culture to be respected, and our concerns to be taken seriously.
We are also asking for clear and proper recognition of Myanmar’s cultural heritage, including accurate acknowledgment of its origins and historical significance. Cultural appreciation should go hand in hand with cultural recognition and respect.
Imagine how you would feel if something deeply connected to your own culture was misrepresented, and when you tried to explain your pain, people dismissed your feelings instead of listening.
You don’t have to be Burmese to understand that cultural identity deserves respect. And you don’t have to agree with everything we say to acknowledge that our feelings are valid.
Please don’t mistake our pain for hatred or our demand for respect for an attempt to create conflict. We are speaking up because we care, because our culture is part of who we are, and because we believe that mutual respect should matter more than fandom loyalty.
Today, we are not asking you to choose one country over another. We are asking you to listen before you judge, to understand before you criticize, and to remember that behind every comment from a hurt fan is a real person whose feelings and cultural identity matter, too.
All we want is the same respect and understanding that you would want for yourselves
