Yesterday, while driving from Varanasi to Delhi on the Ganga Expressway, I witnessed something I will never forget.
An i10 had crashed into a truck after what seemed to be a tyre burst. four people were trapped inside, fighting for their lives. Without thinking twice, I stopped. It took nearly 10 minutes to break open the rear door with a metal rod and rescue an elderly lady. The front door wouldn't open, so we broke the windshield to pull the others out. All were soaked in blood, It was a sight no one should ever have to witness.
A couple in their 50s and few passersby also stopped to help. Together, we did everything we could. As the ambulance was delayed, I carried the injured into my car and drove until we met it halfway. Before leaving, I made sure all their belongings reached them safely.
After almost one and a half hours, I continued my journey. Later, I learned that all had survived. That one piece of news made every second of that rescue worth it. Life can change in a matter of seconds. Please inspect your vehicle before every long trip. Don't ignore worn tyres, unusual sounds, or warning signs. Reach a little late if you have to, but reach safely.

Please Help when you can. One day, it could be you or someone you love waiting for a stranger to stop.

I have driven on this highway for 5 or 6 times now and what keeps me on my toes everytime I sit on the steering, is the realisation or understanding that :
1) the highway will be full of idiots who will stop on the middle or side of the road simply while ignoring dedicated slots for mid way stopping.
2) the most dreaded one is the possibility of someone coming from the opposite side with complete and full sense of entitlement and that too at a speed that leaves not much time to negotiate.

Last week when I was coming back, few kms after 2nd toll, there was a group of high end cars (totalling almost 10-12 and with Delhi and HR no plates) parked on the road with all the travelers strolling as if they are in their colony park.

And this is where, I feel there is a need to launch dedicated Highway police wing of the concerned states with toll co footing the bill of policing.

Also, the toll discipline needs to be enforced with iron hand. If that means @MORTHIndia impounding cars and their drivers, so be it. There need to be few days instant jail for errant drivers. Unless we do that, the discipline won’t set in.

Last time also, I had to step out of my car and give a good mouth of earful to a Delhite driving a high end car but with zero discipline and sense of on road behaviour. Man broke through the line waiting at the toll and with in seconds there was a parallel line of cars covering the space between two boom barriers. Pathetic is an understatement for such idiots!

देख रहे हो विनोद ,नैरेटिव भटक गया है : ✅मुद्दा यह था कि छत्तीसगढ़ का “मसीह समाज” सनातनी मंत्र पर आपत्ति क्यों कर रहा है, जबकि किसी सनातनी ने स्कूल में ईसाई प्रार्थना पर कभी आपत्ति नहीं की है

अब संविधान को समझा जाए :

⭐️ अधिकांश अल्पसंख्यक स्कूल को सरकारी राशि प्राप्त है या CBSE / ICSE / राज्य बोर्ड की मान्यता है । ऐसे अल्पसंख्यक स्कूल को अनुच्छेद 28 का पालन करना पड़ता है

⭐️क्या सनातनी - सरना को ऐसे स्कूल में प्रार्थना पर आपत्ति का अधिकार है ? बिल्कुल है - आइए समझते हैं उस अधिकार को

⭐️​पहली बात , यदि किसी अल्पसंख्यक स्कूल को 100% सरकारी फंड मिलता है, तो अनुच्छेद 28(1) के तहत वहां किसी भी प्रकार की धार्मिक शिक्षा या धार्मिक प्रार्थना आयोजित नहीं की जा सकती।

⭐️आंशिक सरकारी सहायता प्राप्त अल्पसंख्यक स्कूल में कोई ऐसी प्रार्थना होती भी है, तो अनुच्छेद 28 (3) तहत किसी भी छात्र को उसमें शामिल होने के लिए मजबूर नहीं किया जा सकता। 🚨यदि छात्र नाबालिग है, तो उसके माता-पिता की सहमति लेना अनिवार्य है

⭐️मैं मिशनरी स्कूल में पढ़ती थी । 🚨मेरे परिवार या किसी भी सनातनी अभिभावक से ईसाई प्रार्थना की अनुमति नहीं ली गई थी । लेकिन हमें आपत्ति नहीं थी । और आपत्ति नहीं करने वाले परिवार वाक़ई “secular” ( धर्मनिरपेक्ष) हैं ।

⭐️पूर्ण निजी अल्पसंख्यक स्कूल, अपनी असेंबली में धार्मिक प्रार्थनाएं रख सकता है। ⭐️लेकिन यहाँ भी यदि कोई छात्र या उसके माता-पिता आपत्ति जताते हैं, तो स्कूल उन्हें शामिल होने या प्रार्थना पढ़ने के लिए बाध्य नहीं कर सकता।

⭐️पूर्ण सरकारी स्कूल में भी , यदि ऐसे मंत्र पढ़े जाएँ जो की किसी धर्म विशेष की पूजा न होकर ज्ञान और शांति की सार्वभौमिक कामना हों , तो उसपर रोक नहीं लगायी जा सकती है । हालांकि यह विषय फिलहाल माननीय कोर्ट के अधीन है

⭐️अनुच्छेद 25 तहत धर्म प्रचार और धर्म संरक्षण , दोनों की आज़ादी है। लेकिन माननीय सुप्रीम कोर्ट के अनुसार यह अधिकार अल्पसंख्यक के अलावा , अन्य धर्मों / आस्था को भी प्राप्त है ।

और अंत में :-

❌ मुद्दा यह बिल्कुल नहीं था कि ईसाई स्कूल में सनातनी प्रार्थना को क्यों नहीं कराया जाता है । हर अल्पसंख्यक संस्थान को चुनने की आज़ादी है ।

✅ मुद्दा यह था कि छत्तीसगढ़ का “मसीह समाज” सनातनी मंत्र पर आपत्ति क्यों कर रहा है, जबकि किसी सनातनी - सरना ने स्कूल में ईसाई प्रार्थना पर आपत्ति नहीं की है

✅ मुद्दा यह भी है कि क्या “secularism ” ( धर्मनिरपेक्षता ) सभी वर्ग / धर्म की जिम्मेदारी नहीं हैं ?

✅ जब भी गैर-अल्पसंख्यक अनुच्छेद 25 तहत अपने धर्म संरक्षण की बात करते हैं , तो उन्हें “सांप्रदायिक” या “असहिष्णु” कैसे कहा जाता है ?

✅संवैधानिक अधिकार सबके लिए एक समान हैं । अतः मेरे विचार से , सभी धर्म और वर्ग को , समान रूप से सच्ची “धर्म निरपेक्षता” दिखानी चाहिए ।

✅ ईसाई प्रभु की स्तुति करने से सनातनी- सरना बच्चों / अभिभावक को अपनी आस्था पर कोई खतरा नज़र नहीं आया । अतः , छत्तीसगढ़ के मसीह समाज को भी अपने आपत्ति पर पुनः विचार करना चाहिए

5 साल तक ये चुप थी लेकिन अब ममता सरकार के जाने के बाद इन महिलाओं ने हिम्मत जुटाकर अपनी आपबीती सबके सामने रखने का फैसला किया है।
