Anyone who thinks the board was wrong to fire Jobs clearly has hindsight bias. Bro was always insane but he was straight bad. He needed NEXT’s failures to straighten him out.
The latest example of ultra high agency:
Jobs was obsessed with a prototype from Alps that the engineers knew would not be ready on time. So behind his back, they contracted with Sony — going so far as to hide the Sony employee in a closet when Jobs was around.
Six months later, they were proven right. And Jobs, in a rare moment, was quite grateful.
