@JosephKahn Because it took a giant shit on Batman and it felt like Nolan's heart wasn't in it. "LOL his middle name is Robin" is elementary school tier writing.
@JosephKahn Hard to write an edgy masterpiece when you need 100% script approval from the director, the actors, the producers, the studio, F1, FIA, the teams, the drivers, the tracks, the promoters, the sponsors that are visible, all tie-in partners etc. It was bound to be cookie cutter.
@JosephKahn Whoops, new evidence proved someone innocent 10 years after their murder sentence. No biggie, let's try to make things right and release them from pris- oh, they were executed.
@jeffdmovies@JosephKahn Spielberg couldn't legally direct the movie due to his contract for E.T. so they needed someone to be the director on paper. Hooper hadn't had a hit since Texas Chainsaw and was probably just happy to get the credit for a potential box office smash. Allowed him to make Lifeforce.
@MKSolid82@JosephKahn EVERYTHING was filmed in LA. Casablanca was set in friggin Morocco and most of it was shot in LA. Now it's the other way around. Films are set in LA but shot in France, UK, Ireland, Spain, Australia or New Zealand. Crazy to think about.
@lennylh44@F1GamesNews It IS another engine. Just because they still use the same name doesn't mean that it's the same engine.
Or you think Unreal Engine is the same engine as it was in 1998?
@JosephKahn This is the house Renny Harlin bought in Beverly Hills after directing his 2nd American film (A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, 1988). He was already driving a Ferrari at that point.
