KICK has not just failed as a streaming service, it's has potentially stopped any opportunity some of you might have had to realise your dream.

KICK was built to advertise Stake. It has taken streamers who have never made gambling content (or gambled) and hijacked their streams or given them a platform with less discoverability than most other platforms.

People who had small, organic communities fell into "pulling up" for the KICK shills.

Now they have ads whether you sub or not and people are suddenly questioning them, yet the sub never earned KICK any money.

People shilled so hard for KICK and shouted about the 95/5 split, like moths to a flame.

The S4S streamers lapped it up. Larping that they could help smaller streamers. Cries of "W KICK" and "Pick Kick" filled the space.

The trouble is that most people have no idea how business works and its easy to indoctrinate people who are desperate.
Unfortunately they don't come much more desperate than streamers.

The ads are just the beginning, Eddie is in the business of making money and knows that KICK has not had the impact on Stake they were hoping for.

KICK was never it, they picked their favourites to help sell them a dream and put them in an even worse position than they were on Twitch in the long run.
