24 hours since the CEO agent from @bt_uk put the phone down on me in the middle of requesting a SAR’s. Not once have they tried to call me back to discuss how they have STOLEN over £3000 from a vulnerable pensioner! Beware they are scammers and pray on the vulnerable!! @Offcom@MartinSLewis@HSBC_UK@BBCNews@itvnews@Channel4News
Just to warn people to keep an eye on their direct debits with BT/EE!!
My father who is a pensioner has fraudulently had two lots of phone lines and two lots of broadband, when we only ordered one!
This comes to over 3 thousand pounds, they are refusing to refund the full amount as it’s his fault he didn’t check his direct debits!
My father is mostly bedridden as he has cancer and we have to check his statements incase someone within there organisation has scammed him! We apologise for being so trusting BT we never would have thought in our wildest dreams that you would take advantage of a pensioner but here we are!!!
Spoke to a member of the CEO team this morning who could only offer 6 months as it’s my father’s fault!
But when I asked for a subject access request the phone went dead !
Brilliant service BT
