I found $CATE by pure luck.

I know very little about trading and crypto. I’m new to the space and learning in public.

The chatter is huge.

If it were pure hype, I’d expect the chart to look very different.

Is this history in the making, or am I just watching another crypto cycle play out?

About a month ago, I started a short-term project stress-testing advanced large language models.

The job was simple on paper: write enterprise prompts and build evaluation rubrics designed to make the models fail.

The catch? Failure had to be significant. If I couldn’t push the model past a 60% failure threshold, I got nothing. Hours of work. Zero pay.

So I learned the game.

I gave myself a walkout song.
Money for nothing.
Woman vs. Robot.

Every prompt became a puzzle. Every edge case was a strategy. Every failure felt like winning a boss battle.

Working just 10–12 hours a week, I ended up doubling my 9-to-5 income.

When the project ended, I was surprised by how much I missed it. The money was great—but the game was better.

Lately, crypto has been scratching that same itch.

It’s another giant, evolving system that rewards curiosity, pattern recognition, and learning faster than everyone else.

Another round of Woman vs. Robot.

And I’m here for it.

Retail perspective:

The narrative exists and is refreshingly uncomplicated.

Crypto is an environment where a few win and most lose.

Somehow I��ve found myself becoming part of a counterculture I could get behind almost overnight.

Entering this space with a healthy dose of humility because, truthfully, I have no idea what I’m doing yet.

One thing I value deeply is mentorship and communities that genuinely invest in helping people grow.

What I’m looking for:

- An organic, supportive community with a long-term wealth mindset—not quick gains or hype. If I’m doing this, I’m playing the long game.
- Ideally a female-led or genuinely female-friendly space.
- A community that teaches me how to snipe, not scalp. I’m a swing trader by nature, and I want to build that skill set.
Trading is meant to complement my life, not consume it. I guard my time closely, so I’m not looking for a community where the expectation is to have notifications on 24/7 or jump into every call, project, or trade.

There’s so much noise—Telegram groups, Discords, paid communities—that it’s hard to separate substance from marketing. So far, I haven’t found a space that really aligns with what I’m looking for.

Who am I and why am I here?

My name is Lauren. Call me chaotic.
I work full time, decent job (analytics).
But like many, I’m looking for extra ways to make money.

Not for any other reason than to pay off debt, buy a house, foster or adopt a few kids comfortably. Maybe take them to Disneyland once a year. Idk. Right now my paycheck goes to rent, bills, etc.

As a Christian, I spent Saturday night decreeing breakthrough over my finances. Asking for wisdom and strategy in full expectation of receiving it.

On Sunday, I thought “you know I’ma try fomo”
Looked at the stats (analytics 🤓)
Jumped on $Cate.
Stayed because of @PoorGoat_

And now I’m here and can’t go back.

The more I learn, the more I want to stick around and learn more.

This is just the beginning.
