A big thank you today to Lynn from @Ashgate_Hospice for coming in today to talk to our Y10s about the great work they do at Ashgate Hospice! The hospice is the charity we will be fundraising for with this years sponsored walk!
Today is the Feast of the Ascension - a truly important day. On this day we remember how Jesus fulfilled his earthly mission and what he came to earth to do.
Today on our final day of the #SMLentenChallenge we reflect back on the Lent we have shared. We started in lockdown and have finished being able to spend some time with those we love. After this time of doing for others let us do something to be kind to ourselves today.
Today is a strange day. For us it’s the day between Jesus’ death and resurrection but for his disciples it was a day of pain. The one they loved had gone and they didn’t know he would return. Today we wait, in anticipation for his return to us.
Today is Good Friday. We think about Jesus’ death on the cross and the despair and hopelessness his followers must have felt. There are times in our lives where we all feel this way but we wait in hope for Sunday...
What a beautiful way to spend the last day of term! A full day of adoration in our chapel. Thank you to all pupils and staff who took part. Have a wonderful and restful Easter break!
Today is Palm Sunday and marks Jesus’ triumphant entrance into Jerusalem. Today we begin our journey into Holy Week and look at Jesus last week before his crucifixion. We fix our eyes on him and all he did in this week.
Day 34! #SMLentenChallenge have you ever tried to fast? We fast to remind ourselves of Jesus’ time in the desert. As we fast, we pray for those who have less than they need.
