Person without ticket able to board train despite being asked for ticket by 3 staff. Just cycled through and boarded. Train sitting here for 5m so plenty of opportunity to challenge / enforce if no ticket. Not taken. @Se_Railway

I bet there’s a Sinkhole Committee in Godstone now. High vis, cones, a rota, urns, the full works. I expect it is at Crust Level 4 and rising.

I’m also hoping that, in an act of karmic retribution, the goose that pecked me at Godstone Farm when I was 7 fell down the hole.

What I love about this storyline is the irony....for weeks the writers tried to be funny, (eg Panto) and failed. Then they write a disaster story and it's hilarious.
