Defense was on point tonight! This inning ended with 2 strikeouts and and a throw down caught stealing.
I pitched my first shut out game tonight and I'm going to keep putting in the work to push myself for that first no-hitter.

The coach at Texas Tech said it clearly:
Softball was NOT meant to be played 52 weeks a year.
Not 12 months.
Not every weekend.
Not without pause.
Somewhere the message became:
More tournaments = more exposure
More exposure = more offers
No breaks = more success
That’s not how development works.
Off-season season has come to a close. We wish all our ladies a wonderful Spring High School Sports season. See you all on the Diamond in May! @KaidynRickard@S_Colyar2027

Shout out to Sofie for her performance last weekend in the Swingin Against Cancer tournament.

So fun to catch @S_Colyar2027 after her mini chute work for long toss before she shortened the distance with @AaronColya58748. Excited to see what she can do at 43 feet on the dirt! Keep grinding #6!
Preparing for College Softball is More Than Just Team Practice
If your dream is to play college softball, your preparation has to go beyond showing up for practice with your team.
To truly stand out and be ready for the demands of the next level, your training should include:
•Proper Nutrition – Fuel your body for peak performance and recovery.
•Weight Training – Build strength and durability to handle the college game’s speed and power.
•Speed & Agility Training – Improve explosiveness, quickness, and reaction time.
•Mental Training – Strengthen focus, confidence, and resilience under pressure.
•Academics – Keep grades and test scores high. They open more doors and scholarship opportunities.
•Rest & Recovery – Prioritize sleep and recovery to keep your body healthy and ready to perform.
College coaches are looking for complete athletes—physically prepared, mentally strong, and academically eligible to compete.
The best players don’t just practice… they prepare for every aspect of the game.
