Standing on the shoulders of giants. Blessed to share a moment with two iconic leaders who have truly shaped our society—Dr. Eld Lugya B (CEO, Manganjo Grain Millers & Midland Schools) and my mentor, Eld Kagundde J. Grateful for wisdom, vision, and decades of impactful service!
#LCAfricaUpdates || The Leadership of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is engaging government on the issue of National Cleaning day which falls on every last Saturday of every month. Church mantains its position of the belief of the sanctity and holiness of the sabbath and asks government to either give the Adventist community a day that falls before sabbath (Friday)or after sabbath (Sunday) as National Cleaning day.
National Campaign: Expose the Corrupt in Local Government
Today, we spent the day in Bulambuli District inspecting government-funded projects. We are deeply disappointed by the performance of the district technical team. Our inspection uncovered serious mismanagement of the Road Fund.
The District Engineer has been arrested to aid investigations, and several other officials will follow as investigations continue. Every shilling of public money that was stolen must be recovered, and all those found culpable will be held accountable in accordance with the law.
I sincerely thank the area Members of Parliament and the entire district leadership for actively participating in this important accountability campaign.
Special thanks to the Hon. Namere Minister of State for Local Government, the Hon. simon Mulongo Minister of State for Labour, and the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) General Secretary, Hon. @HonTwallafadil , MP for Tingey County, who joined us in the field during today’s inspection and contributed to our findings.
Together, we remain committed to protecting public resources, restoring accountability, and ensuring that government funds serve the people they are intended to benefit.
The Sabbath is God’s reminder that distance does not have the final word. In Him, we belong to one family and move toward the same eternal home. “For you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:28, NKJV).
