@OrganistBarbie I’m partially deaf. My advice would be to invest in a good pair of Bluetooth noise cancelling headphones - they don’t have to be very expensive - whch cancel all external sound so the only thing you hear is the sound from the phone.

@MatthewThomasP6 @ProfBrianCox @campbellclaret @RestIsPolitics The point is that an SM58 is designed to pick up as little as possible except sound projected directly into the top of the ball, as for a rock singer. A broadcast mic like the one in the picture above can pick up equally from multiple speakers sat around a table.

@ProfBrianCox @campbellclaret @RestIsPolitics I wouldn't use one for a podcast involving more than one speaker though. You have to speak directly into it at quite close range, the way rock singers do, for it to be effective.

@OrganistBarbie Dental hygienists are unnecessary. As are dentists (mostly). Just keep your teeth clean by brushing without toothpaste twice a day. I’m in my 60s and still have all my teeth, no pain and no bad breath, and I don’t visit dentists. It’s an industry scam.

@greatmoviesuk why don’t your movies show subtitles? Other channels do. As a partially deaf person you’re making it impossible for me to watch your channel. That doesn’t sit with your stated policy of
