@PotatoBVBQueen Yeah my mom's roommate is going blind and my mom has taken it on herself to help take care of her roommate. The roommate has become dependent on my mom and my mom cant even walk.

@PotatoBVBQueen Nursing homes suck!! And its very clear that the manager of the nursing home doesn't want my mom to get better because that means she gets to go home and the nursing home loses another big check from the government!! 😠

@PotatoBVBQueen They didn't care if I was an hour away at a dr appt or anything. They wanted me to drop EVERYTHING & be home in the snap of a finger "because we're not allowed to do it/touch it"

@PotatoBVBQueen I had problems with that when she was home with me. "Home Nurses" would come sit with her for 5 hours so I could go to dr appts or grocery store, whatever. Some "nurses" didn't have a problem changing her ostomy, others would call me & tell me that I need 2come home IMMEDIATELY!!

@PotatoBVBQueen She keeps begging to come home but the only way she can is if she learns how to walk again because I'm not physically able to pick her up. She knows this but she keeps begging. Now she wants her roommate to live with us too. KMP.

@PotatoBVBQueen They need to have at least one nurse on all the shifts that ARE allowed to change it! Nursing homes are always short staffed + nurses keep quitting & going to better paying jobs
