Two weeks ago I attended the Bioeconomy Research Symposium organized by fellow researchers in @biOrbic_centre. I was lucky enough to speak my piece in a panel discussion on the future of the bioeconomy.
When we speak about developing the bioeconomy, technological innovation alone will not be enough to achieve our sustainability goals. We need supportive policies. We need active engagement within our democracies.
