Over the next few days, we’ll be sharing photos and info from our team’s efforts in Japan and South Korea to promote canola exports and tap into alternative markets. Japan remains one of the most stable and high value markets for Canadian canola.
Team canola is in Tokyo with @jimcarr_wpg and participated in a reception with Japanese importers to build relations and promote high quality Canadian canola.
Ever asked yourself what our Japanese customers do with canola oil? Make light and tasty tempura!
The Canola Council had a productive discussion with @justintrudeau yesterday where we emphasized the importance of regaining market access for canola seed to China – it’s important for the whole #cdnag value chain, including growers, that this is resolved as quickly as possible
I’d hafta guess that betwee the @PioneerWCanada Impact & PKP Trials, @Bayer4CropsCA DSTs, the #canolaUCC plot and the many AAFC and AB Ag bug traps, I must have the most flags, stakes and markers per acre than any other commercial farm in Canada! 😂

A pleasure speaking about increasing exports of one of Canada’s biggest agricultural success stories:
