So you posted a breakdown. They pushed back again. So you posted a summary of the concerns and asked "have I missed anything?"

Uncle, you are shameless and ridiculous.

That question was supposed to be asked before you submitted the recommendations. Not after the president approved them.

The consultation is happening on Twitter after the fact. That is not reform. That is guesswork followed by PR.

And this is not a one off. This is just how it works here.

Now Lagos floods worse than it ever has. The road continues. The minister is fine. The people underwater are not.

Nothing happens to you for skipping due process in Nigeria. No consequences. No accountability. So why would anyone bother doing it properly.

Because of his mostly self made wealth, traditional status, intellect, exposure and being in in touch with the pulse of the nation, you'd expect someone like @akinalabi to be first in line to demand an investigation into the criminal allegations against the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamilla

Even if the appointment was forged (it wasn't) or if Akin wanted to look away towards his godfather Gbaja, he would at least call for an investigation on how a "Fake Parastatal" opened a bank account in @cenbank, had an office in the Federal Secretariat and most importantly, had a budget passed by the House of Assembly that he's a member of.

Unfortunately, he is mere a high pedigree puppet. A high status man without a voice of his own.

Very soon, when the order is given, he will start talking, until then, he'll be a mannequin. No different form the Okada House of Reps member. Or the several low quality individuals that represent me in the House of Assembly.

It shows quality of representation has zero correlation with the background of a individual. Character, more than anything else, is important.
