@GilesEnticknap Thanks @GilesEnticknap
Such a pleasure to be back in Gaborone, and thanks to @UKinBotswana for the warm welcome!
Huge and impressive changes since I finished my posting here 34 years ago, although it was nice to see that the house we lived in has barely changed at all👇

Great to be back in Botswana 🇧🇼 for a short spell as Chargé d’Affaires. I say “back” as I was posted here 1987-1991. The change in 34 years is incredible - a really vibrant city with a whole new CBD.
Lots of nostalgia and happy memories. Pula!

I’m delighted to attend Namibia’s belated independence celebrations in London. I look forward to seeing the 🇬🇧 and 🇳🇦 partnership go from strength to strength under Namibia’s first female President @SWAPOPRESIDENT. @UKinNamibia
@Sam_Schulman Absolutely no idea what you’re on about.
What I mean is, you’ve got the wrong person! You meant to tag @CharlesHMoore, but he doesn’t do X any more.
Diplomatic ties… The British High Commission in Namibia bid farewell to Charles Moore today as he completed his four-year tenure as High Commissioner.
