@LiquidHbox@multiversus Thanks a lot for this thread! For the double bugs bunny we are looking into a long-term fix with our next patch but in the meantime, we've restricted a duo queue from queuing up both as bugs bunny and one will get swapped to Shaggy before the match starts.
Having seen firsthand through the work that the talented team shared during development, the scores don't surprise me. Either way though, launching a well received game is hard, so hats off, and huge congrats to the whole team! I can't wait to play it!
We don't believe it is dead, and I think from what I've seen the hard-core MVS fans you mention don't think so either. We have a lot to do, but I believe we can do something that will delight players. Players are the reason we do the job.
I know this likely isn't an account that came on here for actual discussion, but for others I thought it was worth it.

Game development is a creative endeavor. Being creative it is hard, messy, and as developers we'll never truly feel "done" with something.
We know the game isn't perfect, as Tony said in the video there is still a lot of work to do. For those who have enjoyed it or continue to enjoy it, we want to keep working for you and how we can make it a game you enjoy even more, and something more people can play and enjoy.
When I joined the team a couple months ago I was blown away with what they'd accomplished with the open beta. We've got things cooking for 2024, and for me the netcode is something I'm super passionate about delivering the best we can for players.

@catacalypto Did it get even worse? Took about an hour when I got here at 8:30 but yeah they had only a couple people check vaccine status and 8 automated pass booths 😑
@yoyogadget Still hanging out in San Mateo and will be at GDC in a couple weeks here so we should definitely get together and catch up either there or at a separate time!
@DesignerMonica 14 years here. There are things in green tech that might lure me eventually, but I love creating things that player's enjoy. Not to mention the crazy creative and talented people I get to work with in games.
