"Last week, the EPA held an all-day hearing on the proposed changes to regulate coal ash that were first proposed in April. The public can still comment on the proposed changes online until June 12. So far, more than 24,000 comments have been received." https://t.co/CRyv4zcDmR
@EPA is about to allow corporations to legally poison our drinking water.
The agency just released a new proposal to roll back federal protections on coal ash, a highly toxic waste byproduct that is already contaminating our water, air, and communities. This reckless decision would dismantle current coal ash safeguards, needlessly endanger millions of lives, and hand a massive profit directly to corporate polluters.
We can not let them put polluters profit over human health.
