@kshesh415@KenScribe@BrandonLBradfor Biological impulses tends to defeat considered ethics, and thoughtful caution.
Example: How many billion humans are there now?
@kshesh415@KenScribe@BrandonLBradfor Well, again, the Age of Consent in the state I was living in at the time is 16. She, nor I, nor my parents were in any legal jeopardy.
50 year old me, looking back, would like to think that I would have been honest, and distant, had that not been the case.
But maybe not.
@BrandonLBradfor I was 16, dating a 22 year old woman that lived in the same apartment complex.
We met at the pool, she presumed I was older, and simply never asked until we had already slept together a few times. I wasn’t about to jump up with total honesty and ruin it.
@HerpDerpTheMage@fraserMhay@winged@BrandonLBradfor I can only speak from my own experience, but the only potential tragedy from that relationship (which lasted five years) was that I might have missed it.
@LenyxPoetry We cannot help what we are evolved to be.
From our very first moments, we competed with, and defeated, countless others.
Humans are what they are.
