BREAKING: Iran has reportedly mapped out U.S.-linked data centers, AI facilities and undersea internet cables across the Gulf, with SNSC Secretary Mohsen Rezaee warning they could be completely destroyed if the U.S. and Israel resume the war. Rezaee called the facilities the “pulse of the American economy” in the region. The threat puts infrastructure linked to Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Oracle and major AI projects in focus, alongside undersea cables carrying critical data between Europe, Asia and the Gulf.
The warning follows reported damage to AWS facilities in Bahrain and a UAE cloud zone, which AWS said exceeded what its systems were designed to withstand. A renewed attack could hit cloud computing, banking and AI services across the region.
