The North Carolina Green Party supports @BrianMcGinnisNC in his protests of the attacks on Iran and the genocide in Gaza. His actions in DC are consistent with the anti-war position of the North Carolina Green Party, as we seek to disrupt the prosecution of war as a means of enriching weapons manufacturers and imposing on the world rule by force outside of the framework of international law. The US government has been unable to articulate a consistent position on the attacks on Iran, meaning that it is war waged on behalf of Israel and in service to Israeli foreign policy.

The NCGP condemns the theatrical performance of Senator @TimSheehyMT, as he sought only personal aggrandizement and to score political points. The charges against Brian are not justified, and are meant to quell dissent. The government should drop all charges immediately and allow Brian to return home safely with his family.
