Today, UWA had the privilege of hosting the British High Commissioner at the breathtaking Mt. Elgon Conservation Area, the majestic Mountain of Masaba, for an unforgettable nature walk along the iconic Sasa Trail.
From the roaring beauty of Chebonet Falls to the rich biodiversity that thrives across this spectacular landscape, the experience showcased the very best of Uganda’s natural heritage.
Expertly guided by our concessionaire John Hunwick, alongside the dedicated UWA team led by Tourism and Hospitality Officer David Okiring, the hike offered meaningful insights into conservation, eco-tourism, and the vital role of protecting nature for future generations.
Moments like these remind the world why Uganda is truly the Pearl of Africa, where adventure meets unmatched beauty, warm hospitality, and unforgettable experiences.

@DoctorGladys An incredible drawing!
My uncle took up painting when he retired. When he passed away my aunt didn't know what to do with his unused art materials. We donated them to young artists of Buhoma. They were so grateful for his paintbrushes.
Here's their thank you 🥰
