@Rodion2322@RHenterpr1ses@jbrown94305@marcthiessen The Israeli government denies Palestinians the right to self determination, vilifies Palestinians and applies double standards to them. According to this definition that demonstrates religious and racial hatred.
@Rodion2322@RHenterpr1ses@jbrown94305@marcthiessen According to this nonsense anyone who criticises Israel can be labelled an antisemite, many Jews, including myself understand this is nonsense and simply a tactic to silence criticism and avoid confronting the fact that how you behave, not the bigotry of others is the issue.
@kodkod87@StewartMills@mishtal@ZackPolanski Context is either relevant or not. When Israel applies Context to their behaviour it's deemed an important factor and used to justify behaviour but if others do the same it's attempting to divert attention.
@Rodion2322@RHenterpr1ses@jbrown94305@marcthiessen All his criteria relate to Israel. He didn't define the framework, he tried to conflate often justified criticism of Israels behaviour with antisemitism. When Israel denies Palestinians the right to self determination is that religious hatred or double standards?
@Rodion2322@RHenterpr1ses@jbrown94305@marcthiessen Sharansky's criteria all related to Israel and Israelis, not Jews. According to his criteria many in the Israeli government would be guilty of bigoted Muslim hatred.
@kodkod87@StewartMills@mishtal@ZackPolanski No i didn't. Of course the attack was grievous. Attacking the police is unacceptable and should be punished. Highlighting the fact greater crimes are ignored does nothing to excuse that fact.
@Rodion2322@RHenterpr1ses@jbrown94305@marcthiessen Antisemitism is the hatred of Jews. Accusing someone of speaking for Netanyahu not the American people is in no way antisemitic. Implying criticism of Netanyahu and his supporters is antisemitic is nonsensical.
@SaintHeartwing@cenkuygur Netanyahu may not want to be reliant on US military aid and support but he knows without it Israel is doomed. No Israeli airforce, no iron dome. Israel can't even defeat Hamas, Hezbollah, Houthis or Iran with US aid, let alone without it.
@_AhmedQuraishi@DanielRosenNYC@Algemeiner The question is, is Iran more or less dangerous now than during the Iran nuclear deal? The war has achieved little more than highlight the weakness of Israel and the US and demonstrated how diplomacy achieved far more than isolation and war.
80% of Iranโs missiles remain, it's now run by a more extreme leader, who's seen his father assinated by Israel and the US. It's demonstrated Iran controls the strait and shown how unpopular war is with the US public, damaged support for Israel in the US and lead to Netanyahu being sidelined.
