It’s Africa’s time. A generation of leaders who are primed to recognize potential; with vision, wisdom, & capacity to execute; is emerging. We will have globally competitive national brands, with global-scale yoy GDP outputs. We will have strong, next-generation Defence systems.
It is humbling to consider that if we harness just 1 millionth of the Sun’s power for AI, that will be much more than a million times the intelligence of all of humanity

In 2002, Aliko Dangote was interviewed by TELL Magazine — then one of Nigeria's most respected news magazines.
He wasn't yet "Africa's richest man."
That didn't happen — officially at least — until the 2011 Forbes list.
His $23 billion refinery was still two decades away.
But he said this:
"We are shouting that the economy is not doing well, but what have we done? How many Nigerians do you know who have even more money than I do but are not investing locally?"
That was 24 years ago.
Over the weekend, I posted about how African capital is finally beginning to flow back into Africa (https://t.co/cCuqbC89ti).
Well, Dangote's been championing that cause before many were paying attention.
He didn't just argue for Africans to fund Africa.
He became the prime example of it.

“I’m not really a businessman, I’m an engineer. I like engineering and design. I don’t focus on return on investment, I create new technologies. Technology is the closest thing to magic in the world.”
—Elon Musk
I know you made that post because you want to drag this man. I understand that. But I want to say something, because I personally know a case.
There is a Christ Embassy church at Bypass Junction, Akure. If you know Akure very well, you will know the place. Some people call it Bypass Junction. Some call it Oyemekun Road, Akure. There was a Christ Embassy church there,
Let me be clear: I am not a Christ Embassy member. I am a CAC person—Christ Apostolic Church. But this thing I’m about to say is not what I heard online; it is what happened in Akure and trended there.
There was a sister in that church, an Igbo sister. Her surname was Nwachkwu, (i dont know if i get the spelling right)—I can’t remember her first name clearly, but I know the surname very well because the story went viral then
This sister was travelling around that lagos/Ibadan express way when she had an accident that put her on wheelchair. The doctor told her she won't walk again. Long story short,
at that time, the pastor in Christ Embassy Akure was Pastor Kolawole Niyi Isaac—yes, that was his name the pastor registered the sister for a program called “Atmosphere for Miracle”, which was being held in Lagos then.
According to the sister’s own testimony, when it was her turn, the pastor did not pray long. He didn’t even spend up to one minute. He simply tapped one leg, tapped the other leg, and told her to stand up.
My brothers and sisters, that sister stood up.
Till today, that sister is still walking on her two legs. This thing did not happen yesterday. It happened about 12 or 13 years ago.
If you are still living in Akure, you can go to that church and ask questions. Ask people around Bypass Junction Christ Embassy. This is not something I read online. I know it personally. Personally.
So yes, you may want to drag him. That is your choice. But I will say this: I will share this testimony because I know of it myself.
That is all I want to say.
