Remember Amit Cohen
a 23-year-old from the communal settlement of Carmit in southern Israel, was murdered by Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023, while fleeing the Nova music festival.

While fleeing toward safety, a passing driver named Yaniv Sudri—who was killed later that day—stopped his already overcrowded car to help survivors. According to accounts shared by Amit’s brother, Yarden, Amit stayed outside the vehicle to actively lift and push other fleeing concertgoers into the packed car first.

Once everyone else was inside, Amit positioned himself on top of the passengers to shield them. As the car drove through intense gunfire toward the Re'im military base, Amit was struck by multiple bullets, absorbing the impacts and saving the lives of the passengers beneath him

Loved ones described him as an inherently compassionate person who frequently brought new friends home and went out of his way to include anyone who seemed out of place

New details from the family of Mali Yahalomi, 50, and her daughter Liel, 23, who remain missing in Vienna.

According to Mali’s sister, Elinor, the two women had planned their entire trip in advance. They began in Prague, purchased train tickets to Vienna ahead of time, and checked into an apartment hotel in the Austrian capital.

They sent the family photos on Wednesday, Mali exchanged private messages with her sister on Thursday, and both remained in contact with the family group on Friday, when they again shared photos. They reported nothing suspicious or unusual before contact was lost.

By Sunday evening, after repeated attempts to reach them went unanswered and a WhatsApp message remained on a single check mark, the family opened an official case with the Israeli Foreign Ministry’s emergency center.

Elinor attempted to contact the apartment hotel but initially reached only security personnel who could not assist. Since Monday morning, the Israeli consul has been coordinating directly with the hotel management and the local Chabad House, while keeping the family continuously updated.

As of now, there is still no lead regarding their whereabouts. The family is holding on to the hope that Mali and Liel will arrive at Vienna Airport today for their scheduled flight home to Israel.

My brother found this red tail in the grass in his yard. He clearly fell out of his nest, but there was no nest.
So he put on gloves and put the bird into this high-hanging basket where no cat can reach him.
It didn’t take long, and the mother of the little bird showed up. She can’t take him back home, but she shows up several times a day to feed him.
