@KautzNoah Hi Noah, I'm doing VR too! In my research on VR/AR I found that VR has way more uses than I knew about, like seeing how (virtual) furniture looks, among other things like entertainment and training and education. To that end I think you should focus on VR broadly #DCIM353a
@alencia_f Hi Alencia, I think that while smartphones are a popular topic, I think there are tons of different aspects that could be looked at, like how the intimate connection to social media can be (mentally) harmful to children, for example.

@HuynhhPeter Hello Peter, I think there is a lot that you could do on the topic of smartphones, but I'm a little curious if you're going to focus on only the negative disruptions of smartphones, or if what you're saying is that they are bad even when considering their positives.

My topic EDTP is on VR and its place in the world today, as well as how it will grow to become more disruptive as the technology driving it advances.

@ShaikhE14 Technology is definitely the reason behind this shift in how people date, considering how apps make searching for a partner a lot easier, and although, it may not be all that disruptive, I could see people getting into relationships with people from different parts of the world.
@laurentenRU Technologies becoming smaller and cheaper has allowed devices to get into the hands of kids and is disruptive in families and interpersonal relationships by capturing kids' attention for hours a day.
@zzhaikelin A big reason for this change has been the pandemic, but simultaneously, it opens up the opportunity for companies to save money like no longer renting expensive office buildings. I think the way this is disruptive is how it makes living outside cities and working possible.
Digital News has become a large part of how American's consume information as more than 8 in 10 receive their news from digital devices.

@trinpelina I think this is a good example of positive potentials with the explosion of video communication apps, and I think as long as these apps exist and people are bored people will find ways to create new content with the resources they have.
