At Coachella 2025, Kneecap—a hip-hop trio from West Belfast in the north of Ireland—used their set to condemn Israel’s genocide in Gaza and U.S. complicity. During their performance, they projected large messages onto the stage screens:

➤ “Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinian people.”
➤ “It is being enabled by the US government, who arm and fund Israel despite their war crimes.”
➤ “Fuck Israel. Free Palestine.”

Frontman Mo Chara led chants of “Free Palestine,” telling the crowd: “Palestinians have nowhere to go. This is their f**king home, and they’re being bombed from the sky.”

The group said pro-Palestinian content had been censored during their first Coachella set. For weekend two, they returned with streamer @hasanthehun, who joined them on stage and live-streamed the uncensored set to his audience.

My spouse visa application process included 4 months of not being able to visit my wife, cost me around £5,000, and is valid for 2.5 years.

After the 2.5 years, I will have to apply again for the next 2.5 years. After which, I'll have to apply again to be able to live in the UK indefinetely. In total, moving to the UK will have probably cost me £15,000. 😅
